Creating Objects

The scene needs to be populated with misc objects including candles, chairs, lights, decor etc. Here's my objects as they are now.

Playing With Lighting

Most of us at the group seem to have got Vue 6 working. If its easy we'll use this program for creating scenes and the final render otherwise it'll be used for concept work.
Here's two versions of a candle I made in Maya. The top image is rendered in Vue 6- with a basic texture the bottom one is rendered in Maya with a more tweaked texture. The Vue 6 allows different lighting shaders to be created easily which makes for a more stunning render.
