Old drawings from Feb

Some early concept drawings for the girl and gorilla. Scanner isn't working so had to take photos.

Using After Effects:
Created a shadow and inserted the model animation in. All seems ok.

I've followed this animation religously to help get the movement right for the walking animation of the gorilla

Ok, the background isn't that important as I'm only asked to concentrate on the characters. I still had a go at creating one, however this render took 2.5 hours to render meaning that animating the gorilla and rendering the background would take too long. If I can i'll import both video clips into Adobe After Effects and put it together like that.
The trees and grass models are sample objects that come with the render package 'Vue 5'.

Stressed? yup

Hmm, I find myself creating interesting titles for my blogs that arn't really needed. In the future i'll just post it without a title.

Anyways, i'm stressed because Maya does this when I move one of my joints. The undo button doesn't fix it either when this does happen.

Looks like a wreak but I guess I can send it to the Tate and call it 'art'.

I've been using lots but here's a simple one that was useful.

Computer power

The hair could fill the entire head more- you can still see her skin under the hair at the moment. I've done it like this though so the computer doesn't have to render as many hairs which slows down render time a lot. This animation is going to take ages to render as it is.
